It has existed in AZ for years, but many do not utilize it. Many don't understand that the tax dollars they owe the State can be designated for our School District here in Sedona. It is considered credit towards owed taxes. Taxes are collected from our government, to contribute to our way of life here in the USA, why not tell the State of AZ where you want some of your dollars to go?

The Tax Credit is a way for any tax payer to tell the State where to put their tax dollars. The Tax Credit allows YOU to decide where you want the State to put your money to work. You are allowed to apply $200 towards our public school district, then apply the credit directly to your tax return. That's $200 less that you owe!
