Mimi Maher, founder of BCT Sedona, and her husband Basil have supported several community organizations related to Housing, Children, and Education in NJ, UT, ME, and now here in Sedona. 

Mimi moved to Sedona with her husband and three of their 6 children in July of 2020. With Jackson, Emily and Libby (pictured center) in Sedona public schools, they both saw how housing for families and teachers, with a free extended school day would contribute to help for working parents, attracting working parents to Sedona, and thus foster a healthy school system. They have also been instrumental in rebuilding the Sedona Oak Creek Unified School District Educational Foundation. socusdedfoundation.org

Mimi and her husband work to offer community support, not merely financially,  but through opportunity for development and growth by means of tangible solutions. 

A true local, Catey Maxey was born and raised in Sedona and takes pride in raising her family in her hometown. She has a two beautiful children, Elliot and Sage, and is married to Adam, a Sedona Fire District Firefighter/Paramedic. 

Catey is active in the community and is a lover of the local trails, riding her horse and hiking often. Catey’s career background includes social work and juvenile justice, both of which have had an impact in her current role managing BCT Sedona.

Catey has been an indispensable part of the operations at BCT Sedona. She has seen the evolution of the Sedona community firsthhand due to lack of housing, and is extremely passionate about assisting in housing our local population. With her oldest son heading towards Pre-School at West Sedona School, she has also emmersed herself in helping the District by being on the board of the Sedona Oak Creek Unified School District Educational Foundation. socusdedfoundation.org

These two, a husband and wife dynamic duo, under the name of their young company Mensanta Solutions, have been incredibly helpful to BCT Sedona. They are a  complete package, from landscaping, cleaning, and painting, to repairs and maintenance. The crew at Mensanta Solutions keeps our houses, condos, and apartments looking and operating their best for our family of BCT tenants.

Berenice, who's parents are citizens of both Mexico and the United States,  grew up with her siblings right here in Sedona. She met Cesar, who was visiting from Mexico when she was a young girl. Years later, when Cesar decided to come to this country on a work visa, they married and now have two children, Juan and Charlyn in West Sedona Elementary School. Cesar has Permanent Resident status and is intent on working towards citizenship.
